UT-TGD01P FAQ
Is the UT-TGD01P a single-gas or multi-gas detector?
Single-gas: each unit is fitted for one target gas — EX, H2S, CO, O2, NH3, H2, Cl2 and more per the sensor selection table. Choose the sensor for the hazard being monitored.
Can a portable detector replace a fixed gas detection system?
No. Portable detectors protect people who move: personal protection, patrol checks and confined-space pre-entry testing. Fixed systems protect places continuously. Many Malaysian sites use both — see our fixed vs portable guide.
How long does the battery last?
The 1800 mAh lithium battery provides over 10 hours of continuous monitoring at full charge (4–6 h USB charging). Recharge outside hazardous areas.
Is the UT-TGD01P explosion-proof?
The detector is explosion-proof certified and its intrinsic-safety design follows GB3836.1-2010 / GB3836.4-2010. Do not open, modify or charge it in an explosive atmosphere.
